Notes:
The Colts led the league in "Offensive"
PossessionPoints; however, their "defensive" indicator was in the
Red. This could be due to the defense not needing to hold the other
teams down. When it came to the playoffs, the Offense performed
about the same as they did all season but the defense played up to
their capabilities. Look at the Colts playoff indicators: There was only 1
yellow, and all the others were Green. No wonder they won the Super
Bowl.
Looking ahead to 2007, the Colts may find themselves in a quandary.
Suddenl, there is a big spot to fill with the retirement of veteran
offensive lineman Tarik Glenn. This will be a big loss to the blind-
side protection that Peyton Manning enjoyed last season. As of now,
it appears the Colts have lost more than they gained in the
offseason, and the road to repeat as Super Bowl champions will be a
hard one.
