Notes:
The Falcons 2006 was not a strong
performance from a PossessionPoints stat viewpoint. They only had 3
games where they had offensive performances in the Green indicator
zone, and they won 2 of those games. They won seven games despite
having a PossessionPoints offense that ranked them 29 out of the 32
teams.
Looking forward to 2007, the Falcons
have a new coaching staff, and it now seems a new quarterback. This
generates enormous question marks that will need to be answered in
the pre-season and early going before we could say what we expect
out of the Falcons. As of now, we would consider the Falcons a long
shot for making the playoffs. We will be watching very closely the
early going to see if Joey Harrington can make the most of this
opportunity and become a solid NFL quarterback.
