Notes: The Jets posted a good 2006 as measured by the PossessionPoints stat. They made the playoffs but were just one-point shy of a regular season average in the "green" zone with 98.9 PossessionPoints per game. Their record of 10-6 was good enough to get them into the playoffs, However. in their first playoff game,  they ran into the Patriots who were 7th in the regular season in PossessionPoints. Even though the Jets were 10th in PossessionPoints, the Patriots beat them soundly in PossessionPoints and on the scoreboard.

Looking forward to 2007 the Jets could improve their season-long PossessionPoints performance such that they move into the "green" zone on average.
