Notes: The Green Bay Packers fell short in 2006 as measured by the PossessionPoints stat. They were 23 out of 32 for the season just behind the Lions. So while the Lions were faltering with a record of 3-13 ,the Packers record of 8-8 flirted with the playoffs. It gives an indication of what a fine line there is between winning and losing in the NFL. Their PossessionPoints performance appeared worse than their record but they didn't have any anomalous results..

Looking forward to 2007, the Packers must improve their season-long PossessionPoints performance if they want to bring Brett Farve back to the playoffs. The Packer's offseason has not given much to point at to say there will be definite improvement.
