Notes: The New England Patriots well - what can we say - showed off a great looking PossessionPoints chart. It is no wonder that they were one step shy of the Super Bowl. They pulled out a thriller against the Chargers and then were the only team to get out of the "red" in offense effect against the Colts in the Playoffs. They didn't get in the "green" but no other team managed to get out of the red.

Looking forward to 2007, the Patriots have been aggressive about improving their offense with the signing of Randy Moss. This could make the Patriots great PossessionPoints performance of 2006 get even better in 2007. We wouldn't argue with people that are making the Patriots a favorite to win the Super Bowl before the season starts.
